Our commitment
RE Wax Bartram LLC and RE Wax Beaches LLC, doing business as Reveal Waxing & Skincare (“Reveal”), together with RE Spa, are committed to making our websites and online booking experience accessible to everyone, including guests who use assistive technology. We want every guest to be able to learn about our services, book an appointment, buy a gift card, and reach us without barriers.
Standards we follow
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced in Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidance for websites. This site is built on WordPress and was tested before launch with automated accessibility tools and manual checks, including keyboard-only navigation and screen reader review.
What we have done
- Descriptive text alternatives for images and logos.
- A logical heading structure and page landmarks so screen readers can move through each page.
- A “Skip to main content” link at the top of every page for keyboard users.
- Visible keyboard focus on links and buttons.
- Text colors chosen to meet WCAG contrast requirements.
- Prices and hours written out as text, not images, so they can be read aloud.
- Ongoing review of new pages and blog posts before they are published.
Known limitations
Online booking and checkout are provided by Zenoti, our scheduling and payment partner. We work with Zenoti to improve the accessibility of those pages, but some elements are outside our direct control. If you have any difficulty booking online, we will gladly book your appointment by phone.
